Low Fat Cod Blend for adult dogs is formulated to be lower in Fat than recommended in the AAFCO Nutrient Profiles For Dogs. Low Fat Cod Blend is recommended by veterinarians for dogs needing a restricted fat diet. Just because the diet needs to be lower in fat doesn’t mean it has to be lower in flavor – dogs naturally love the taste of freshly baked Cod blended with fresh whole foods. Because it does not meet the AAFCO standard for fat, it is labeled for intermittent feeding only unless recommended by a veterinarian. Because this blend is so low in fat it is also lower in calories, be sure to review feeding instructions with your veterinarian as your dog may require more than the recommended feeding amount.
